Covid 19 is real.

My son has it now, and he’s fighting for his life.

We were at the house and he cooked nilagang baka for lunch the other Sunday.

Tuesday he experienced the first signs… colds, fever and lost his sense of smell 😔

Wednesday still with fever. The cough started that night.

Thursday still with fever and dry cough.

Friday, i told him that he should see a doctor and get tested for covid. So off he went, all by himself on his motorcycle.

The laboratory and the check up lasted the whole afternoon. The xray showed he has mild pneumonia, so the doctor gave him prescription for antibiotics and the vitamin ImmunoPro.

The result of the swab test came out the next day. POSITIVE. it was actually expected. But i was still hoping for a negative.

Sunday or i think Saturday night, he asked me if he should tell the Barangay of his swab test result. I told him if feels like it, then he should. So he did and he received a text message from Dr, Laniog a doctor of the City Health Office.

I went on Sunday to give him supplies, kalamansi, ginger, rock salt, etc. He was staying at the second floor of the house, i did not even see him. 😢

Monday morning, he said he wants to be confined to the hospital, i said okay, if that’s what he feels he needs. An ambulance picked him up alone.

Tuesday, still no improvement. But his vitals are stable.

Tuesday, the doctors were suggesting a medication with the drug Remdesivir, We researched it and decided to go on with it.

Kuya sold his motorbike to pay for the medication, it is not covered by his health card.

It’s Wednesday night, and I have been crying.

I am so sad for Kuya’s condition. No one knows if he will survive this.

But I have offered him to the Lord, surrendered his health to Him. It is the Lord’s grace that will cure him. 🙏🏼

Amidst all these, prayers and support are coming in.

Realizations and affirmations are being unfolded.

Papa God, please heal my son Janjan! 🙏🏼 Amen!
