All things happen for a reason, Nothing really happens by chance. So last month I was having cough and asthma attacks and finally after some change in medicines, I was normal again. August 7 I scheduled a check-up with my Internist and had laboratory tests scheduled for Monday, August 9. August 12 I went back to my doctor with all the laboratory results. Well, as I was expecting, because of my very unhealthy diet... My cholesterol, sugar and uric acid are all HIGH. And I also had a few bacteria in my Urine, so I had a slight UTI (infection). So I am back to medication. Although I stopped the antibiotic for the UTI because of increased acid pains, I bought all 14 tablets but was able to take 4. 😦
Last July 8, I registered both me and Bong for the vaccine in Cavite.
And the wait was too long. So a friend advised us to just register again and again.
So last August 8 I tried one more time and also registered at MunCoVac in Muntinlupa City where my kids are residing.
And then Viola!!! We got a text early yesterday morning that we are already scheduled for the vaccine at Muntinlupa.
My son was asking why I got scheduled first while he registered before me…. Maybe it has something to do with my age? 😁
Well, mixed emotions as I was both excited and anxious about the vaccine. 🤸♀️
Since Bong do not have an ID as a resident in Muntinlupa, I issued him a Certificate of Employment as my Personal Driver. (which is partially true naman 😍😆)
So off we went to SM Muntinlupa to get our first dose of the vaccine.
Our schedule was 2pm-3pm but we went earlier and arrived at around 10:30am.
So they let us go with the 11am scheduled peeps there.
And you know what? We even got luckier because during our turn, they were already giving the Pfizer vaccine! 🙂
We got Vaccinated around 2:30pm already, so Imagine how hungry we are na at that time! 🤣
The guy there with the funny speech told us that our second dose is scheduled on September 4, also a Saturday.
There was this guy, also an employee of the Health Department who gave around 20 minutes of a funny speech, all to keep us calm (he said) and I think it worked. His speech was also related to the vaccine, the do’s and don’t’s and telling us how lucky our batch is because we got the Pfizer Vaccine, the only one internationally accepted vaccine if you want to travel abroad.
We bought Zinger sandwiches at KFC and Siomai from Master Siomai and ate our lunch inside the car. 😍
I will update you on how I’m feeling in the next few days, after the vaccine.
And to answer the question why I decided to get vaccinated, is because I want to travel!
I want to go to places i’ve never been to before!
And also maybe to go back to the places I’ve been to…. with my love this time. 💕
