It’s already the second day of January 2024.

2023 flew by so fast! So many happenings… and i’m happy to say that mostly they are good.
Let me count the ways:

1. My UK Travel to attend my eldest daughter’s wedding.
2. My transition from being a Virtual Assistant into a Freelancer and then Outsourcing. Which was quite overwhelming as it happened so fast!
3. From one client in Upwork to Eight clients in a matter of months!
4. We got our Dream Car! An MG (Morris Garages) HS Trophy, and we call him Thor.
5. My love bought me pieces of jewelry that amounted to 100k pesos by the end of the year.
6. We were able to consistently give back to the community at the Solidground Gamefarm like 5 kg of rice every time my love wins a fight and we had our first noche buena package outreach for December 2023 where 23 families benefited.
7. First time to spend Christmas out of town, in Tarlac and with Najel.
8. Janjan is having his first child, his wife Grace is pregnant and we are praying for a safe pregnancy and delivery.
9. Oh, I also had my first grandchild by Leanne! Robbie!
10. Najel has a new boyfriend, a high school classmate she reconnected in the UK.

There are just so so many blessings that we cannot contain our gratefulness.

But then, before the year ended, I got sick with the flu…. I actually don’t know if it was Covid because I did not get tested. I was just down for two days, and already feeling better by the third day (30th).

So on the 31st, we celebrated at home, just me and my love. Then yesterday we had lunch at the farm with our farm people and neighbors…. after the candy giveaway for the children we went home and then…. My love already felt ill.
So today, well, since yesterday when we came home, i’ve been taking care of him.
It’s harder when he gets sick because he tends to have very high fever.
Anyways, whole day today I’ve been like taking care of him and updating my Notion 2024 Planner, which is my first time to use…. so it’s really taking me a LOT of time refining to my liking and needs.

So much for that…. May everyone have a prosperous 2024!!!!
