Two weeks ago we went on a four-day vacation in a place about seven hours away from our home.
Since my love decided to sell the farm, he has more free time now.
Dati kasi whenever we go out, he would say “We have to go home now because I still have to go to the farm. He usually goes in the morning and afternoon (until evening at around 7 at night)
Now, we have more time together.
So every weekend, we think of where we would like to go.
Like this trip, imagine having four days of vacation without work!
Although I brought my laptop with me, I only used it for work once, just to update my Upwork hours on the last day. Oh and I forgot, we also used it to watch Gandahar on Netflix and another movie I forgot the title.
It was Saturday very early morning when we left the house to travel, used Google Maps to guide us on the road.
It took us more than seven hours.
We had some stopovers for breakfast and some sightseeing.
We really took our time.
The first place that we stayed at, it was a small family-run resort. Our room is right beside the sea. It was soooo hot when we got there, it was around 2pm. And the air conditioning in our room was not functioning very well, so the room was still hot.
But later in the afternoon it rained!!! And it rained really hard so we got to swim!
At night my love borrowed a microphone from the owner of the resort and he sang his heart out until 8pm.
We had an early night off especially since my love was tired from driving.
On Sunday, we didn’t do much since the weather is really hot. Although we slept pretty good considering that the aircon is not that cold.
Our assistant, Mary Grace brought us our breakfast and lunch.
Since it was a weekend, and it was Mother’s Day! there were a lot of people at the beach.
We transferred to a new place at 2pm. The place is called Casa Carolina.
It is a resort with better facilities. We had to upgrade our room since Mary Grace booked us as third floor!!! And it’s not beachfront.
So we paid extra Php1,000.00 per night.
More on my next post for Day 2!
