Some seasons come quietly, others arrive with a bang.

This one came with pain—and left me in awe of God’s goodness.

Around the week of July 14, I came down with the flu. Thankfully, it wasn’t too severe, and I recovered within a few days. But what made it more memorable was that Tito Bong caught it too, and his symptoms were actually worse than mine. We both spent those days resting, hydrating, and healing—together. Even in weakness, we found strength in each other’s presence.

Just when we thought we were back to normal, another challenge came.

The following week, I was hit with calcific tendinitis.

A deep, sharp pain on my right shoulder and arm. At its worst, I couldn’t lift my arm, lie on my side, or do basic things without wincing. The pain was relentless. Nighttime was the hardest—when the world got quiet, but the pain got louder.

But during those tearful nights, it was my love who comforted me.

He massaged my shoulder gently, helped me move, and made sure I was never alone in the pain.

He carried me in love when I couldn’t carry myself.

🕊️ Just one week later, I’m in awe.

Today, I can honestly say I’m feeling 95% back to normal.

The healing came faster than expected—a beautiful surprise from God.

I can move freely again, sleep peacefully, and do the things I couldn’t just days ago.

That kind of turnaround? I call it grace.

💛 What I’ve learned through it all:

1. God heals—in His perfect, sometimes surprising, timing.

I truly believe my recovery wasn’t just physical. It was divine.

2. Shared healing is powerful.

Going through the flu with my love, and receiving his care during my shoulder pain, reminded me of what love and partnership really look like.

3. Pain is God’s invitation to pause.

My body asked me to rest—and I finally listened. In that stillness, healing began.

4. Gratitude changes everything.

Every small gain—lifting a cup, sleeping through the night, moving without fear—became a reason to thank God.

5. God surrounds us with people who care.

I want to take this moment to thank Papa God for our very understanding clients—those who checked in, who gave me space to heal, and who reminded me through their kindness that business can be built on compassion. Their concern for my health meant the world to me.

So here I am—on the other side of pain, full of praise.

If you’re in a difficult season, know this:

Healing comes. Help comes. And above all, God never leaves.

God is sooo good talaga!

He is the Healer, the Comforter, and the Giver of peace.

With love and gratitude,

Tita Maya
